The essence of being Italian differs from region to region, as does the cuisine. Northern Italians enjoy rice and prefer butter over olive oil. The Tuscans, in central Italy, favor spelt and beans, and utilizing the famous olive oils cultivated from the silvery olive groves dotting the countryside. Southern Italians treasure their congenial environment which provides a bounty of seafood, fruits and vegetables. Our classes convey this gastronomic mélange.
We offer a class focusing on Tuscan fare and another highlighting Sicilian dishes. In the Regional Sampler class, we compile menus traversing several regions in one meal. Our classes will reveal Italian culinary secrets for you to incorporate in your repertoire.
Our 3-hour classes features detailed instructions and the preparation of traditional Italian dishes in small, intimate groups. Classes are available mornings or afternoons. Reserve a single class, two days or more. Our menus are seasonal, using the freshest ingredients available. All the classes are led by a professionally trained chef, who is a native English speaker.
